The greatest experience, the one which shakes a soul with hopes and fears, the results of which are never ending, and incidentally, the one which pays the biggest dividends, is to be found in the adoption of children.

Not The News I Wanted From PGN!

Well, I called PGN today. This marks our seventh week of being resubmitted. I'm here to tell you that seven is not our lucky number! We received another previo! What a bummer! I'm not sure what the problem is this time and I haven't heard from our agency yet. I just know that I really wasn't expecting this. I thought if we were getting another previo, it would have happened before now.
Those of you who know us, know that we were praying to have the adoption finalized by May 12th. For those of you who don't know, my husband was informed exactly one week after we received our referral that he is losing his job. We have until May 12th (which is his final day as an employee) to finalize the adoption and receive the "very sizable" adoption reimbursement from his company. Any time after that date, we won't be able to receive the benefit.
I have been praying that God's timing would coincide with Pfizers time table but it's not looking like that will be the case. I have been trusting that God would see us through this situation from the beginning and I know He will. Financially, it would make things much easier if we had that benefit to help pay down the adoption debt. Now we will be waiting to see what God has up his sleeve.

Please keep us in your prayers

This hurts my heart so very much, how desperately I want to see your PGN out. I can only imagine how tough this day must have been. However, we serve a mighty God, remember that God can do super abundantly beyond your wildest imagination, He can move mountains! Stand guard over your thoughts and words and fill them only with His Word. Praying you through dear friend. Susie

Pam, Sorry to hear this. As a sidenote, we were told of a kickout from PGN, but got approval 2 days later...so maybe the info is incorrect. (We had been in 7 weeks at that time too!) I'm praying you meet that May 12th deadline!

This was not what I wanted to hear either.. I have a feeling I am next though.. Just haven't been able to shake it all week... Hate the news about your hubby as well... That surely makes things more stressful right now.... Spend the weekend focused on that beautiful girl at home.. That will cheer you up.. and good things are coming

Oh no. I am so sorry. That is just so cruel to wait that long to issue a previo. I am hoping you are back in and out pronto. God always has a plan, though we often cannot see it in the midst of everything.
(And, I am with Sandy and hoping this is a mistake!)

Pam,
I know you only from Susie's blog, but we too are in process with a Guatemalan adoption. It looks like our timelines are very similar. I am so sorry to hear about your previo. It is such a kick in the gut!! I am praying that it will be a quick fix, and I will also pray that the Lord will sustain you through this time. It is only HIM that can get us through this.
Blessings~
Meghan
